Aston Villa and West Ham United are interested in Napoli’s Hirving Lozano who dreams of playing for either Liverpool or Manchester United.

The future of Hirving Lozano has been the talk of the town in Mexico. There is serious interest in the 27-year-old winger’s services from Saudi Arabia. And, given their recent acquisitions, there is a serious possibility that he could join any of the Saudi Pro League clubs in the near future.

Fans in Mexico were convinced that Lozano would have left Napoli only for the Premier League. But, the recent interest from Saudi has caused panic amongst the fans who want him to stay at the Naples-based club as Mexico prepares to take part in the next major competition.

Lozano’s future has been up in the air because there is only one year left in his contract. With the contract set to expire in the summer of 2024 and no talks of an extension at this point in time, Napoli could sell the 27-year-old in the ongoing summer. They might not want to risk losing out on him for free next summer.

Despite appearing in 40 matches during the 2022-23 season, the Mexican international was on the pitch for just over 2,000 minutes. A move elsewhere could surely help him accumulate more first-team minutes.

Meanwhile, his former agent Alessandro Manfrecola has recently talked about the 27-year-old’s future. Manfrecola talked about the interest from Saudi clubs and the fact that they have been using their financial strength to sign some of the biggest stars from across Europe.

However, Manfrecola believes money is not everything in football. He also addressed the fact that Lozano has always admired the Premier League and would love to play in the English top flight.

Manfrecola regarding Lozano’s future via Mondo Napoli: “West Ham and Aston Villa have shown interest in Lozano, but it seems to be a timid interest. Lozano has always dreamed of squares like Liverpool and Manchester, so I don’t think he can be very attracted to them.”

The 27-year-old dreams of playing for Liverpool or Manchester United. However, neither of the clubs at this point in time have any interest in acquiring his services. But, there is interest in him from English clubs.

West Ham United and Aston Villa would love to have him in their ranks. Both clubs are looking to bolster their attack ahead of next season. And, Lozano could help their cause. However, Manfrecola believes the Mexican international might not be that attracted to join either of them given his long-term desire of playing for either Liverpool or United.
