Real Madrid will look to take a step closer to the league title when they lock horns with Valencia at the Mestalla on Saturday evening. And Carlo Ancelotti has greeted positive updates on the team news front ahead of his side’s latest fixture.
Jude Bellingham and Joselu are back after stepping up their rehabilitation programs in the last few days. In addition, Dani Carvajal and Jude Bellingham are back after serving their suspensions this past weekend. The quartet is in the travelling squad to take on Valencia.
So, Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao, and David Alaba are the only players on the sidelines for the away side. Meanwhile, Ancelotti spoke about the returning players while discussing the possible return dates of Courtois and Militao in his pre-match press conference.
The Real Madrid manager said, “The team has trained well and Carvajal, Camavinga, Joselu and Bellingham will all be back. He’s [Bellingham] at 100%. He hasn’t trained too much with the team but he’s done all he needs to on an individual basis. He’s in good shape, optimal physical condition and he’s comfortable with his ankle. He’s up for it and will play tomorrow.”

With Courtois still unavailable, Andriy Lunin will deputise for the Belgian international. The backline should witness the return of Dani Carvajal, who will join Antonio Rudiger, Nacho, and Ferland Mendy in the backline.
As for the midfield unit, Camavinga should return, joining Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde in the middle of the park. Brahim Diaz will reprise the no. 10 role, meaning Bellingham will be an option on the bench. Finally, Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior will be the two strikers for Los Blancos.
