According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea are pondering a move for former Spanish international midfielder Xavi. The 44-year-old will leave Barcelona at the end of the 2023/24 season.

Xavi did an impressive job at Barcelona last season, and the 44-year-old guided them to the league title and the Spanish Super Cup win. However, things have not gone according to plan for him the season, and he is expected to leave at the end of the season. Barcelona are currently third in the league table and are unlikely to win the league title.

Xavi has already announced that he will leave Barcelona in the summer, and it remains to be seen whether he is open to a challenge in the Premier League. Chelsea have had a disappointing season as well, and it is no surprise that they are considering a managerial change.
