Chelsea have set their sights on 57-year-old Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou as they look to end their managerial search.

Ange Postecoglou has done a splendid job at Scottish club Celtic. And the 57-year-old is thought to be on the radar of Chelsea as they look to bring in a replacement for Graham Potter as per The Guardian.

Chelsea have put Frank Lampard in charge of the first team on an interim basis. But they will need to bring in a more permanent solution soon. Ange Postecoglou’s attacking football has impressed one and all over the last few seasons, and he has helped Celtic win the league title as well.

Postecoglou has worked in English football before with Fulham. But it remains to be seen whether he is ready to take over at Chelsea. The 57-year-old is at a stage of his career where he will feel that he has enough experience and ability to take over at a big club. And he could prove to be an interesting addition to Chelsea.

The Blues have an exceptionally-talented squad, and they will need to bring in a manager who can get the best out of their players. They have been linked with the likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Luis Enrique and Julian Nagelsmann as well.

While Nagelsmann has withdrawn from the race, Chelsea are not really keen on Enrique anymore. That leaves Mauricio Pochettino as one of the front-runners for the job. It will be interesting to see if Chelsea are willing to choose Postecoglou over Pochettino at the end of the season.

Although the 57-year-old has impressed in Scotland, he has not won major trophies at a high level, which could be a concern for a club like Chelsea. The pressure on the 57-year-old attack-minded coach will be immense if he takes over at Stamford Bridge.

Postecoglou would definitely be an upgrade on Graham Potter. He has had success at every club he has coached and all in a number of different leagues. Ange is a driven, ambitious bloke who is always looking for the next challenge. I am sure he would only consider leaving Celtic for a job such as this one. Personally, I think he would surprise quite a few people and I for one (as a Chelsea fan) would LOVE to see him given his shot.
