Jordan Henderson will make his 400th appearance for Liverpool in the game against Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday.

Liverpool will be eager to continue the recent unbeaten run in the Premier League when they welcome Manchester United to Anfield on Sunday evening. And Jurgen Klopp does not have any new injury concerns hampering his preparations ahead of his side’s latest fixture.

Calvin Ramsay, Joe Gomez, Thiago Alcantara, Arthur Melo, and Luis Diaz remain unavailable. In addition, Naby Keita will likely miss out as he recovers from a knock. And during his pre-match press conference, Klopp confirmed that he did not receive any grim updates from the medical team.

The Liverpool boss said, “We had little [knocks] – should be [the same]. The last message I got, it’s now early [and] I didn’t see them this morning – a lot of things can happen overnight – but yesterday evening they were all fine apart from the players who are out; Thiago and Luis Diaz. Joe obviously I think is closer, but not close enough.”

With Klopp likely to have the same squad at his disposal as the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers, he will likely make minimal changes to the starting lineup. And there is no looking past Alisson Becker between the sticks.

The defensive unit should see only one change, with Andrew Robertson returning to the starting lineup. Kostas Tsimikas will make way for the Scottish defender in the left-back berth. But Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, and Virgil van Dijk will retain their spots. And van Dijk will make his 150th Premier League appearance for Liverpool.

As for the midfield unit, Jordan Henderson is set to make his 400th appearance for Liverpool. It will be a landmark occasion for the veteran midfielder, who will be eager to produce an improved performance. Henderson will join Fabinho and Stefan Bajcetic in the middle of the park, with Harvey Elliott dropping to the bench.

Finally, the last change will see Cody Gakpo returning to the starting lineup. Diogo Jota will drop to the bench, with Gakpo spearheading the attack against Manchester United. And Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah should be the two wide men for the hosts. Jota and Roberto Firmino will be backup options on the bench for the Reds.

Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Bajcetic; Salah, Gakpo, Nunez
