Everton have reportedly emerged as the latest club to be linked with a move for Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target Dejan Kulusevski.

According to a recent report from William Hill News, the race to sign Dejan Kulusevski is heating up, with Everton emerging as a potential suitor for the Juventus starlet. The Bianconeri are expected to offload the out-of-favour 21-year-old forward in January as Massimiliano Allegri looks to rebuild his attacking setup.

In addition to Everton, Kulusevski has remained a top target for the two north London giants in Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. Even Newcastle United have been linked with a move for the young attacker, as the Magpies look to utilise their recently acquired financial muscle in this January transfer window.

Juventus’s desire to offload Kulusevski is perhaps unsurprising. With just eight goals in 69 competitive appearances, the Swede has struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular in Turin, falling behind the likes of Paulo Dybala, Alvaro Morata and even Adrien Rabiot in the pecking order.

Juventus intend to utilise the sale of the 21-year-old Swedish international in order to fund a move for top target Gianluca Scamacca. The Bianconeri believe the young Sassuolo forward can be an ideal long-term investment for the club, although they could face stiff competition from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Lilywhites are in the market for a new attacker as they prepare for potential life without Harry Kane. While Scamacca is a target, Tottenham’s managerial director Fabio Paratici favours a move for Kulusevski instead. He was the one who brought the youngster to Juventus and is aware of every detail in the player’s contract.

Arsenal are another club to have shown a serious desire to sign the 21-year-old. It appears Mikel Arteta considers Kulusevski an ideal replacement for Alexandre Lacazette, who may leave the club amid interest from Inter Milan.

Everton, meanwhile, could be embroiled in a potential battle for survival during the second half of the campaign. It has led to speculations surrounding the futures of their star players, including Richarlison, with PSG reportedly reigniting interest in the Brazilian.

Rafael Benitez is hoping that the January addition of Dejan Kulusevski could offer the much-needed oomph in the attacking third, as the club looks to recover after a difficult start to the season. Everton have already made a couple of eye-catching moves in the market so far, bringing in two quality full-backs in Nathan Patterson and Vitaliy Mykolenko, who is likely to serve as a direct replacement for Lucas Digne.
