Transfer News: PSG ready to offer bumper deal to land Vinicius Jr.

Vinicius Junior is reportedly set to be offered a contract with a net worth around €18 million per year by PSG to leave Real Madrid.

According to a report by Catalan outlet El Nacional, Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to exact revenge on Real Madrid by trying to prise Vinicius Junior away from the Santiago Bernabeu. The French giants are readying a contract offer with a net worth around €18 million to tempt him to leave the Merengues.

Vinicius Junior joined Real Madrid from Flamengo in July 2018 and has made massive strides in his career since then. In the last three years, the Brazilian forward has come leaps and bounds to become a pivotal figure for Los Blancos and has grown exponentially in the ongoing campaign in particular.

Thus far in 2021/22, the 21-year-old has a remarkable record of ten goals and seven assists in 18 appearances across all competitions. The player’s exploits have not gone unnoticed, with several clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, attempting to prise him away from Real Madrid.

According to the report, the French giants are ready to offer a bumper deal with a net worth around €18 million per year to tempt Vinicius Junior to end his spell at Real Madrid. Such a development has put a spanner in the works for the Spanish giants, who are keen on tying him down to a new contract.

The reported offer from PSG is quite lucrative, to say the least, and Vinicius Junior is not ruling out joining Les Parisiens by penning the €18 million-a-year contract. The interest from PSG does make sense amid the uncertainties surrounding the future of Kylian Mbappe, who is coincidentally a key target for Real Madrid.

As per El Nacional, the Ligue 1 heavyweights are looking to exact revenge on Real Madrid for the saga involving Mbappe in the summer transfer window with such a lucrative offer. However, Real Madrid fancy their chances of tying Vinicius Junior to a bumper new deal.

Apart from PSG, the 21-year-old has also been linked with Manchester United. With competition for his signature intensifying, it will be interesting to see if Real Madrid can keep hold of their prized asset or if he is lured away by an appealing contract offer by one of his prospective suitors instead.
