Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid are reportedly all prepared to slug it out in the summer in a bid to land Juventus superstar Alex Sandro.
The Sun are reporting that Arsenal are prepared to battle other suitors in an attempt to land Juventus superstar Alex Sandro. The player is also being targeted by the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid. And it seems the Gunners will have to compete with the aforementioned duo in the pursuit of the Brazilian.
Alex Sandro has evolved into one of the best left-backs in the world since moving to Juventus in August, 2015. The player has locked down a regular place in the Juventus lineup and is one of the true pillars of the Bianconeri’s success in the recent seasons under the tutelage of Massimiliano Allegri.

This season alone, the player has notched up 40 league appearances with a return of 2 goals and 5 assists to boast for his efforts. And his performances have caught the attention of the other Elite clubs in Europe.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid have previously been linked with Alex Sandro and it seems the rumours have resurfaced, with the summer transfer window looming in. The need for a new left-back at Etihad is not unknown and Guardiola is seeking for a fresher and a more younger, established face at the position.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, do not have quality options at left-back other than Marcelo. Fabio Coentrao is set to leave the club in the summer, with a return to Portugal on the cards and Los Blancos need reinforcements in the said position.
Arsenal, though, are the latest to join the queue. The Gunners’ need for a left-back is even more imperative considering that Kieran Gibbs is likely to exit the club and there is no real competition or replacement for Nacho Monreal, who, at 31, is unlikely to be able to hold the fort much longer.

Also the player’s experience of being a part of the 3-5-2 formation is likely one of the reasons Wenger is targeting the 26-year-old. The player will cost at least £30 million, if not more – an amount that is unlikely to stop any of the aforementioned clubs from pursuing the left-back.
The transfer markets have been getting crazier by each window and the summer is sure to be another lofty ride in the form of ambitious and shocking transfers – Alex Sandro could just be one of them.
