The last time he scored a goal was five years ago, when he was playing for Manchester City. He was a member of Arsenal FC’s 2003-04 ‘Invincibles side. But against Aston Villa on Sunday, 34-year-old Kolo Toure became a Liverpool FC hero with his debut goal for the club.

In Liverpool’s game against Aston Villa, the Ivorian headed in a Jordan Henderson corner on the 71st minute to wrap up proceedings for the Merseysiders in a 6-0 victory.
