The last time he scored a goal was five years ago, when he was playing for Manchester City. He was a member of Arsenal FC’s 2003-04 ‘Invincibles‘ side. But against Aston Villa on Sunday, 34-year-old Kolo Toure became a Liverpool FC hero with his debut goal for the club.
While all the focus these days is on his brother Yaya, Kolo reminded everyone that there’s another member of the Toure family capable of scoring goals. In Liverpool’s game against Aston Villa, the Ivorian headed in a Jordan Henderson corner on the 71st minute to wrap up proceedings for the Merseysiders in a 6-0 victory.
