Thomas Tuchel has made a host of changes to the Chelsea starting lineup, handing a debut to Wesley Fofana and a start for Conor Gallagher, among others.

Thomas Tuchel seems to have tinkered hard with his team selection for the West Ham United clash, making a host of changes to the Chelsea starting lineup. There is a first start for Wesley Fofana, among other inclusions.

Fofana starts in a back three that includes Thiago Silva and Kalidou Koulibaly. Reece James is preferred at right wing-back, with Marc Cucurella taking up the other wing-back slot on the opposite flank.

There are multiple changes in midfield, with Conor Gallagher taking his place in the middle of the park upon returning from a suspension. The English international is partnered with Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek there, with Jorginho surprisingly relegated to the bench.

Christian Pulisic is afforded a place in the starting lineup and will feature in the attack alongside Chelsea top scorer Raheem Sterling. Kai Havertz and Mason Mount are only deemed good enough for a place on the bench, which looks strong with further attacking talents such as Armando Broja and Kahim Ziyech.

Chelsea Starting Lineup: Mendy, Fofana, Silva, Koulibaly, James, Gallagher, Kovacic, Loftus-Cheek, Cucurella, Sterling, Pulisic
