Frank Lampard has made three changes to the side that beat Tottenham this past weekend as Chelsea prepare to play hosts to Southampton at Stamford Bridge.

There is no replacing Kepa Arrizabalaga in goal. In front of him, Lampard has retained the 3-4-3 formation, with Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma and Fikayo Tomori continuing in the back three. Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta is fit to start, but Emerson Palmieri has replaced Marcos Alonso as the left wing-back.

In midfield, there is one forced change, with Mateo Kovacic suspended. Chelsea vice captain has replaced Kovacic, with N’Golo Kante partnering him in the middle of the park. The final change comes in attack, with Mason Mount making way for Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Hudson-Odoi has Willian and Tammy Abraham for company in the three-pronged attack. Abraham will lead the line for Chelsea against Southampton, while Willian and Hudson-Odoi provide support from the flanks.
