Emerson Palmieri returns for the first time since September while Callum Hudson-Odoi is benched again as Chelsea take on Watford at Vicarage Road.
Frank Lampard has made one change to the side that comfortably beat Burnley in the Premier League last weekend as Chelsea get set to lock horns with Watford at Vicarage Road.
Kepa Arrizabalaga starts in goal against Watford after being rested in the Carabao Cup fourth round tie against Manchester United. The only change from last weekend comes in defence, with Emerson Palmieri coming into the side in place of Marcos Alonso.

Emerson will be Chelsea’s left-back, with Cesar Azpilicueta starting on the opposite flank. Kurt Zouma and Fikayo Tomori form the central defensive partnership once again. The midfield double pivot is adorned by Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho, while Mason Mount reprises the no. 10 role.
Callum Hudson-Odoi is relegated to the bench just like last week. Hudson-Odoi’s place is taken by Christian Pulisic, the hat-trick hero at Burnley. Willian starts on the right wing, with Tammy Abraham leading the line for Chelsea against Watford.
Chelsea Starting XI: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Tomori, Emerson; Kovacic, Jorginho; Willian, Mount, Pulisic; Abraham
