Unai Emery has named a strong starting lineup to face Chelsea in Baku for the Europa League Final, with Petr Cech making his final career appearance.
There were talks of Bernd Leno starting the Final, although Unai Emery has named Petr Cech in the No.1 position. The Czech veteran makes his final career appearance and now faces his former side in the Europa League Final. Emery, as expected, has named three defenders at the back with two wing-backs for support.
Laurent Koscielny, Sokratis and Nacho Monreal all start in a back three, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Sead Kolasinac are preferred in full-back roles. Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira form their partnership in central midfield, while Matteo Guendouzi only makes the Arsenal bench for this clash.

With Henrikh Mkhitaryan absent through a political issue, and Aaron Ramsey through injury, Emery has opted to start Mesut Ozil right behind the strikers. Club top-scorer, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and striker partner Alexandre Lacazette start up front in what looks like a star-studded attacking three for Arsenal.
As this is the Final, both teams are allowed more players on the bench and Arsenal have plenty of youngsters present there. Among those experienced present, are Alex Iwobi, Guendouzi, Mohamed Elneny, Leno, Mustafi and Danny Welbeck who marks his return from a long term injury.
