Arsenal Confirmed lineup vs Brighton: Leno, Torreira, Mkhitaryan return to starting eleven

Unai Emery has made a few changes, one of which is reverting to a four-man defence, as Arsenal chase a win over Brighton at Emirates in the Premier League.

Petr Cech did well in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League semi-final against Valencia. But, the veteran has to concede his spot in the Arsenal goal, with Unai Emery opting to start Bernd Leno against Brighton. Emery has also opted to revert to a back four for the tie, compared to the three-man setup he used against Valencia, with Laurent Koscielny the one to make way.

The right flank sees Stephan Lichtsteiner return, with Ainsley Maitland-Niles suspended due to the red card he received against Leicester. Koscielny gives way to an extra spot in midfield, which is taken up by Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who will partner Mesut Ozil in what appears to be a two-man setup behind the strikers.

The holding midfield sees Matteo Guendouzi being replaced by Lucas Torreira, who was not in the starting eleven against Valencia. Granit Xhaka keeps his spot. Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are the designated strikers for Arsenal.
