Gonzalo Higuain is one of two changes made by Maurizio Sarri from the game against Brighton as Chelsea prepare to take on West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.

Higuain returns to the side in place of Olivier Giroud, and will lead the line for Chelsea against West Ham United. On his left, Eden Hazard retains his place while Callum Hudson-Odoi gets another start, in what will be a pleasing news for the Chelsea fans.

There are no shuffles in midfield either, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek, another fan favourite, keeping his place ahead of Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley again after initial fears of a lack of fitness. Loftus-Cheek will have N’Golo Kante and Jorginho for company in the middle of the park.

The second and final change comes in defence, with Antonio Rudiger continuing his recent rotation with Andreas Christensen, who drops down to the bench. Rudiger will have David Luiz as his partner at the heart of the Chelsea defence, with Cesar Azpilicueta and Emerson Palmieri being the full-backs. Behind the defence, Kepa Arrizbalaga is the Chelsea goalkeeper once again.
