Eden Hazard is set to start as the False Nine as Chelsea prepare to take on reigning champions Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.
Hazard is among five changes made by the Chelsea boss, with the Belgian superstar replacing Olivier Giroud in the side that beat Malmo in the UEFA Europa League. Pedro is the other change in attack, with the Spaniard taking Callum Hudson-Odoi’s place, while Willian retains his place in the side. Gonzalo Higuain is surprisingly on the bench.
In midfield, Jorginho is the only change, with Mateo Kovacic dropping to the bench. N’Golo Kante and Ross Barkley though, have kept their places in the Chelsea starting lineup.
The defence sees David Luiz make his return to the side, with Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Emerson Palmieri continuing from the midweek European game. The big news at the back though, is that Kepa Arrizabalaga is fit and available, and replaces Willy Caballero in the Chelsea goal.
