Gonzalo Higuain makes his Chelsea debut as part of a much changed side as the Blues gear up to face Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge.

In all, Maurizio Sarri has made seven changes to the starting lineup against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup, with Eden Hazard being rested. As iterated, Higuain starts for the first time for Chelsea, replacing Olivier Giroud as the central strikers, with Willian and Callum Hudson-Odoi being the wide men.

In midfield, Ethan Ampadu retains his customary FA Cup slot, with Mateo Kovacic returning as well. Willy Caballero replaces Kepa Arrizabalaga in the Chelsea goal while Andreas Christensen and Marcos Alonso are the final two changes.
