Chelsea captain John Terry has not been a regular feature in Antonio Conte’s plans this season, but is all praise for the Italian manager for transforming the Blues side into the league’s best teams.

Conte started out deploying a 4-1-4-1 as well as a 4-2-3-1 formation and failed to get the best out of his side. After watching is side lose 3-0 to Arsenal, the Blues boss decided to transition to a system he is familiar to, and has since set out his side to play in a 3-4-3.

Terry, due to his injury concerns, was dropped out of the squad and has failed to return to the starting eleven due to the fantastic form of the Chelsea defenders. David Luiz has been impeccable at the heart of the three-man defence with his prolific ball-playing ability and composure with and without possession of the ball.

Cesar Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill have been performing well on either side of the Brazilian and have provided a more than adequate wall of protection for Thibaut Courtois in goal.

The Chelsea captain was all praise for the club’s new system and hailed the impact Conte has had on the dressing room. Take a look:
