Leicester City produced a display that provided glimpses of the Foxes’ previous season form as Manchester City were on the receiving end of a 4-2 scoreline at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
And, Jamie Vardy was the cream of the crop. The English international scored a wonderful hat-trick as Manchester City’s defence was sliced wide open by Leicester’s attack on many occasions despite the away team having a lion’s share of the ball.
