Chelsea made hard work of a match against West Ham United at Stamford Bridge, going behind twice in each half, only for parity to be restored thanks to midfielder Cesc Fabregas. 

 

West Ham United took the lead twice early on in each half — the first through Argentine playmaker Manuel Lanzini in the 17th minute, and the second through Andy Carroll in the 61st minute. However, Chelsea fought back on both occasions and their hero turned out to be Spaniard Cesc Fabregas, who converted a freekick in first half injury time and a penalty in the 89th minute.
