We take a look at some of the potentially profitable markets from fifth gameweek of the Premier League featuring Chelsea, Manchester United and more.

With most of the action happening on Saturday, we see all the quintessential top teams slug it out on the day. Tottenham and Liverpool kick us off in what is expected to be a cracker of a game. Chelsea host struggling Cardiff while Newcastle face another top team in Arsenal. Manchester United are up against the in-form side in Watford.

Sunday sees Wolves go up against Burnley while Everton face a West Ham United side that are yet to get off the mark.

Before we move on to the profitable markets, let us take a look at how things panned out for us in the first gameweek.

Tottenham vs Liverpool

A match that has become more complicated for Tottenham, especially with a few star players returning injured. Liverpool, on the other hand, brought their 3 Brazilian stars via a private jet in order to get them ready and available for the early kickoff.

While Liverpool are fancied to win this one, Mauricio Pochettino will demand a response from his squad after the defeat to Watford. And chances are, he might get one, albeit a subdued one, thanks to the injuries.

Favourable Bets

1. Over 2.5 Match Goals @ 1.66

2. Over 10.5 Corners @ 2.00

3. Christian Eriksen Shots on Target Over 0.5 @ 1.66

Underdog Bets

1. Full Time Result – Draw @ 3.40

Chelsea vs Cardiff

A match that is heavily tilted towards Chelsea, especially after the contrasting start by the two teams. Cardiff though, did show an improved display against Arsenal and could surprise Chelsea to an extent. Expect the home side to struggle but prevail, ultimately.

Favourable Bets

1. Cardiff Asian Handicap +2.0 @ 1.940

2. Chelsea Clean Sheet – NO @ 2.20

3. Alvaro Morata to score anytime @ 1.66

Underdog Bets

1. Full Time Result – Draw @ 8.00

Newcastle vs Arsenal

It is unfair to judge Newcastle based on the first four fixtures, having met Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea in 3 of those matches. But, their performance has been drab, with Rafa Benitez happy for his side to surrender possession and play in a withdrawn manner.

Arsenal registered a narrow win over Cardiff. But, what was a positive was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette linking up well, which are good signs for the club’s future under Unai Emery. Expect the Gunners to register another narrow win.

Favourable Bets

1. Arsenal to win @ 1.90

2. Over 9.5 Corners @ 1.83

3. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score anytime @ 1.83

Underdog Bets

1. Arsenal Team Goals Over 2.5 @ 3.50

Watford vs Manchester United

A match that was billed as the start of an easy run of fixtures. But, Watford’s blistering start to their season has been almost intoxicating for their fans. Manchester United looked convincing against Burnley and should have had a more dominant scoreline.

Expect Watford to take the game to Manchester United. But, Jose Mourinho is a mastermind and while he has been scrutinized to great lengths, expect him to have something special planned for the Hornets.

Favourable Bets

1. Manchester United to win @ 1.95

2. Both Teams to Score – NO @ 1.95

3. Romelu Lukaku to score anytime @ 2.30

Underdog Bets

1. Romelu Lukaku to score 2 or more @ 7.50

Miscellaneous Bets

Bournemouth have had a brilliant start but could find themselves facing a tough task of beating Leicester. Burnley have looked out of sorts, but the international break could serve as a freshener, which could bode well for them against Wolves.

Everton could pile on more misery upon West Ham and Manuel Pellegrini. Southampton tasted win for the first time against Crystal Palace and could continue the same against Brighton.

Favourable Bets

1. Everton to beat West Ham @ 2.00

2. Bournemouth vs Leicester – Leicester Draw No Bet @ 2.10

3. Bournemouth vs Leicester – Both Teams to Score – YES @ 1.66

4. Manchester City vs Fulham – Fulham Asian Handicap + 2.5 @ 1.940

Underdog Bets

1. Burnley to beat Wolves @ 5.75
