We take a look at some of the potentially profitable markets from third gameweek of the Premier League featuring Manchester United vs Tottenham and more.

It is the battle of two geniuses as Wolves and Manchester City feature on Saturday in an early kick-off. A London derby follows with Arsenal and West Ham going head-to-head, albeit with both the teams yet to get off the mark in the Premier League.

Liverpool face a confident Brighton at Anfield while Newcastle will host Chelsea on Sunday. Manchester United and Tottenham go head-to-head on Monday, with Jose Mourinho and his squad under pressure to deliver. Two other potentially entertaining games feature Watford hosting Crystal Palace and Cardiff traveling to Huddersfield.

Before we move on to the profitable markets, let us take a look at how things panned out for us in the first gameweek.

Favourable Bets Result: 5/11

Arsenal vs West Ham

This match is likely to set some tongues talking as it’s after-effect. On one end is Unai Emery trying to usher in a new era at Arsenal. On the other is Manuel Pellegrini, who has been brought in to propel West Ham to better placings and increase their European reputation.

Both the teams have struggled so far. But, it would be Arsenal that will fancy themselves to take this. Pellegrini though, would have surely taken note of the haphazard play that the Gunners have displayed thus far, which could see West Ham nick in a point or perhaps, three.

The game is likely to open up in the second half or towards the hour mark. Expect the intensity to show in terms of cards.

Favourable Bets

1. Arsenal Clean Sheet – NO @ 1.53

2. Over 2.5 Match Cards @ 1.57

3. Over 10.5 Corners @ 1.90

Underdog Bets

1. West Ham to win Either Half @ 3.50

2. Shkodran Mustafi to be booked @ 3.50

Liverpool vs Brighton

Brighton will be full of confidence going into the match after their win over Manchester United. But, Chris Hughton will be aware that Liverpool’s attack will be a different beast altogether. While it might not be possible to completely diffuse the Liverpool attack, Brighton can use phases of dominance to get a result, as evidenced in the win over United.

Potential for upset here.

Favourable Bets

1. Brighton Asian Handicap +2.5 @1.725

2. Liverpool Clean Sheet – NO @ 2.10

Underdog Bets

1. Under 1.5 Match Goals @ 6.50

Newcastle vs Chelsea

Two very contrasting teams – one who have retained their manager but have been frustrated by no new faces, the other with a new manager and a new philosophy, but one where the manager has been allowed to shop for tools to get the philosophy working.

Newcastle though, should be the first true test for Chelsea and the new philosophy. Rafa Benitez will set his side up in a way that is brittle and it will be interesting to see how the ‘Sarri-ball’ will slice through the defence.

Favourable Bets

1. Chelsea to win @ 1.66

2. Chelsea Clean Sheet – YES @ 2.37

3. Alvaro Morata to score anytime @ 2.40

Underdog Bets

1. Jorginho to score anytime @ 4.00

Manchester United vs Tottenham

A match that could have long repercussions. A  defeat for Manchester United here will only fuel the fire that has been ignited by the media already. On the other hand, if Tottenham end up losing, it would highlight the lack of signings in the summer and Pochettino’s poor record against big clubs.

Expect this to be a very cagey affair.

Favourable Bets

1. Manchester United Asian Handicap 0.0 @ 1.830

2. Over 2.5 Match Goals @ 2.00

Underdog Bets

1. Full Time Result – Draw @ 3.30

Miscellaneous Bets

2. Wolves vs Manchester City – Both Teams to Score – YES @ 2.00

3. Fulham vs Burnley – Both Teams to Score – NO @ 1.80
