Fulham will reportedly look to sign English attacking duo Tyrique George and Raheem Sterling from Chelsea in the winter transfer window.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Tyrique George and Raheem Sterling are the subjects of interest from Fulham. The Cottagers are keen on bolstering their offensive unit by signing several attackers in the winter transfer window. So, the Chelsea attacking duo has emerged on the West London club’s wishlist.
Tyrique George is the latest promising prospect to fall victim to Chelsea’s infamous hoarding policy. The 19-year-old Englishman enjoyed his breakthrough at the West London club in the 2023/24 season, and he was impressive under Enzo Maresca last term.
However, Chelsea’s aggressive spending in the summer transfer window has led to only 492 minutes of game time across 11 appearances thus far in the 2025/26 season for George. On the other hand, Raheem Sterling’s stock has plummeted since joining Chelsea from Manchester City in July 2022.
The English international has steadily fallen in the pecking order at Chelsea, and he spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Arsenal. Sterling has reached his lowest ebb as a professional footballer this season, as he has not managed a single minute of game time thus far. However, Sterling’s stock remains high, with Fulham interested in the veteran attacker, as well as George.
Fulham’s interest in Tyrique George and Raheem Sterling is understandable. The Cottagers are scouring the market for versatile attackers heading into the winter transfer window as they aim to make a charge for the top half of the table in the second half of the 2025/26 season.
The West London club came close to signing Tyrique George in the winter transfer window, but a deal did not materialise. The teenage prospect’s versatility makes him an appealing target for Fulham amid uncertainties surrounding Adama Traore’s long-term future. Meanwhile, securing Raheem Sterling’s services may be a tall order.
Recent reports have suggested that Sterling’s wages pose a problem for Fulham, and a winter deal may not materialise. However, it will be interesting to see if the Cottagers sign both George and Sterling from Chelsea in the coming days.
