The Premier League champions have been scouring the market for a midfielder heading into the winter transfer window. So, they are ready to lodge an opening offer worth €25 million to sign the 21-year-old midfield prospect, although a deal will likely materialise in the summer.
Who is Mikel Jauregizar?
Mikel Jauregizar is the latest player to extend the rich heritage of Spain’s midfield factory. A native of Bermeo, the Spaniard spent his formative years in his homeland, starting his youth career in his hometown before joining Athletic Club in July 2021. Since then, the youngster has come leaps and bounds at the Basque outfit.
