The Serie A giants have been scouring the market for a centre-back after losing Gleison Bremer to a season-ending knee injury. So, the Chelsea utility man has emerged as a target for the Bianconeri, with Borussia Dortmund also vying for his signature.

Renato Veiga has been a solid performer for Chelsea since arriving from FC Basel in the summer transfer window. While opportunities have come few and far between for the versatile defender, who can play as a centre-back, a left-back and a holding midfielder, his displays have remained consistent.
