The Blues are scouring the market for a striker heading into the January transfer window, with the Paris Saint-Germain flop emerging as a target. The 26-year-old is also a target for Manchester United, but Chelsea will soon approach PSG regarding a move for the player.

Randal Kolo Muani has struggled to make his mark since joining Paris Saint-Germain from Eintracht Frankfurt in September 2023. The Frenchman was among the most highly sought-after attackers in the world 18 months ago but has seen his stock plummet during his spell with PSG.
Kolo Muani has gradually become a peripheral figure for PSG, and he has managed only 453 minutes of game time across 14 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with two goals and one assist. However, the 26-year-old attacker’s stock in the market remains high despite his struggles at PSG.
Premier League bigwigs, in particular, are keen on signing the French international, with recent reports linking him with Manchester United. However, Chelsea might look to steal a march on the Red Devils, with the West London club ready to contact PSG regarding a move for the former Eintracht Frankfurt attacker.

Manchester United’s interest in Randal Kolo Muani is understandable. The Red Devils are scouring the market for a versatile attacker amid uncertainties surrounding the long-term future of Marcus Rashford. So, the PSG flop has emerged as a viable target for Manchester United.
As for Chelsea, the West London club wanted to sign a striker in the summer transfer window before a deal for Victor Osimhen failed to materialise. While Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu have done well for Chelsea this season, Enzo Maresca can do with another option in the final third.
