Manchester City are willing to pay big for Florian Wirtz next summer as they view the German playmaker as a perfect fit for their team.

Florian Wirtz won the Bundesliga Player of the Season gong, and rightly so, as his performances for Bayer Leverkusen deserved the accolade. His preference to stay put at the club might have been the consequence of Xabi Alonso staying put, although next summer, he could be on the move as a big career move awaits the playmaker.
Wirtz has no shortage of suitors in the market, and given his expected price point, only a handful of big clubs will be able to afford the playmaker. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are considered favourites to land the attacking midfielder, although the race is still considered wide open depending on who can pay up big.
