According to an update by reputed German journalist Patrick Berger, Andrija Maksimovic is gaining popularity in the market. Liverpool and Manchester City are among the clubs tracking the progress of the 17-year-old history-making Red Star Belgrade wonderkid. In addition, he is a target for Borussia Dortmund and Juventus, with Crvena Zvezda valuing him at €15 million.
Who is Andrija Maksimovic?
Andrija Maksimovic is the latest highly-rated prospect to rise in prominence in Serbia. The country has been producing several promising prodigies in the last few years, with Kosta Nedeljkovic, Jan-Carlo Simic, and a few other Serbs making their mark at well-known clubs.
As for Maksimovic, the teenage sensation is a native of Novi Pazar and has progressed through the ranks at Red Star Belgrade.
