According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Jonathan David is the subject of interest from Newcastle United. The Magpies are among the clubs keen on securing a pre-contract agreement in January. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old LOSC Lille striker is also a target for Arsenal, Chelsea, and West Ham United.

Jonathan David has established himself as one of the best players in Ligue 1 since joining LOSC Lille from KAA Gent in August 2020. He has gone from strength to strength in the last four years, becoming a mainstay in the final third for his club and country.
The 24-year-old has turned out nearly 200 times thus far for LOSC Lille while amassing 88 goals and 20 assists. Meanwhile, David’s progress at the Ligue 1 club has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs, especially in the Premier League. Newcastle United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and West Ham United are among his prospective suitors.

Recent reports have claimed that Arsenal and the Canadian international have been in contact regarding a pre-contract agreement over a Bosman move in the 2025 summer transfer window. With Gabriel Jesus struggling to produce the goods in front of the goal, David is a viable target for Arsenal.
