According to a report by Caught Offside, Ederson is the subject of interest from Liverpool. The Reds are ready to offer €45-50 million to sign the 24-year-old Atalanta midfielder in the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, he is also a target for Manchester United, although La Dea will only sell him if they keep hold of Teun Koopmeiners.
The rise and rise of Ederson at Atalanta
Ederson has blossomed into a powerhouse of a midfielder since joining Atalanta from Salernitana nearly two years ago. The Brazilian has gone from strength to strength in his two campaigns with La Dea, establishing himself as one of the best midfielders in Serie A while earning a call-up to his national side.
The 24-year-old was ever-present in the middle of the park for Atalanta this season, amassing over 4,000 minutes of game time across 53 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with seven goals and one assist. Meanwhile, Ederson’s international career has taken off this month after making his debut for Brazil.
However, the former Salernitana midfielder faces an uncertain future in Bergamo, with several high-profile clubs across Europe keen on signing him in the summer transfer window. Liverpool and Manchester United are two of Ederson’s prospective suitors, with the Reds preparing a bid worth €45-50 million to secure his services.
