Chelsea and Manchester City keen on Sergey Pinyaev

Chelsea and Manchester City are keen on Russian teenager Sergey Pinyaev ahead of the summer, but any move will be complicated.

According to HITC, Russian teenager Sergery Pinyaev has emerged on the radars of Manchester City and Chelsea, who are keen on the attacker. Any move to England will have its complexities due to the ongoing Russian conflict with Ukraine, which could even scupper a move for the Dynamo Moscow star.

Manchester City Chelsea keen on Sergey Pinyaev

Sergey Pinyaev has made his name one of the brightest talents in Russia as he plies his trade with Dynamo Moscow. The attacker has been getting some rave reviews, with multiple club scouts watching him regularly, but neither side has made its first move towards the Russian teenager.

The ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict has had its effect on football, which could become a problem for Russian players to move around, especially to England. Hence, while Manchester City and Chelsea are keen on the attacker, there’s a complex situation brewing that would prevent the dup from signing the teenager.

Pinyaev, a 19-year-old former Manchester United trialist, has been likened to Cristiano Ronaldo for his style of play. Whether he comes good off that promise remains the question, but he would certainly want a more extensive test than Dynamo Moscow and will look to get a big move somewhere.

Chelsea and Manchester City certainly represent a big side in that equation, but again, coming here will not have a favourable response from a political angle. Hence, the two sides might still look to sign him and use their multi-club system to aid the move.

Multi-club system to favour Pinyaev’s move?

While the discussion surrounding Russian players rumbles on, English clubs will need help getting Russian players on board. The likes of Pinyaev might not get his move to the Premier League straight away. However, the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City have multi-club systems that could aid them in signing the Russian teenager.

Upon arrival, Pinyaev could join one of the clubs owned by Manchester City or Chelsea, which could be in France or Spain or even Italy. Hence, there are plenty of ways for these sides to bend the rules and still ring Russian players as an investment that could be used in the future.
