PSG prepared to pay €140 million to sign Bukayo Saka

Paris Saint-Germain are ready to break the bank and fork out €140 million for the services of 22-year-old Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.

According to a report by Fichajes, Paris Saint-Germain are preparing themselves for a blockbuster summer transfer window, where they will go after the signatures of Bukayo Saka. With Kylian Mbappe leaving the club after the end of the season, the French giants are looking to bring the best possible forward to reinforce the squad led by Luis Enrique.

Kylian Mbappe’s replacement

Mbappe’s contract runs out at the end of the season. While PSG would have loved to once again extend his stay, the player has already made a decision regarding his future. He does not intend on continuing at the French club and according to reports, he has agreed to a move to Real Madrid.

With Mbappe’s departure a certainty, PSG have started to prepare themselves for life without the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner. They are looking to bring in the best possible forward to replace him, and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is on their radar.

The 22-year-old has come up the ranks at the North London club, and he has gone from strength to strength over the past few seasons. Saka seems to have taken his game to the next level in the ongoing campaign as the Gunners push for the league title.

He has featured in a total of 35 matches in all competitions, scoring 16 goals while bagging 15 assists. The right-winger has been one of Arsenal’s best player, and he has been integral to their dominant run.

PSG’s pursuit of Bukayo Saka

While the Englishman still has over three years left on his deal, PSG are prepared to prise him away from Arsenal. Les Parisiens are prepared to offer the English club a record fee to make the move happen. They are willing to fork out over €140 million to land him in their ranks.

Saka is a very important part of their first team, and Arteta will try his best to keep him at the club. But, a fee of more than €140 million will surely make the Gunners think twice before turning it down. Even if they do agree to sell, they will look for a sure-shot replacement before sanctioning the sale.
