Arsenal have reportedly set an asking price of £150-200 million for Bukayo Saka, although the chances of them even thinking of selling him are nonexistent.

According to Football Insider, Arsenal will reportedly demand £150-200 million for Bukayo Saka should they plan on selling their homegrown superstar. The chances of that happening are few, although there are some top clubs readily waiting on the wings should the winger become available at some point.

Arsenal set Bukayo Saka price tag

The news about Arsenal setting a said price tag for Bukayo Saka will distress the Gunners fanbase, as they will not accept a sale of their homegrown superstars under any circumstances. The club are certainly not planning that, yet the report talks about a specific price point that the north Londoners might consider in theory.

As per the story, Arsenal would want a fee between £150-200 million for the 22-year-old winger in the current market. Saka is one of the best players the club have ever produced in their academy’s history, and the attacker has made a place of his own in Mikel Arteta’s side.

On two separate occasions, three or four years apart, Arsenal had managed to ward off advances from some of the top clubs like Manchester City and Liverpool, who were keen on signing Saka. On both occasions, the Gunners managed to extend his deal, with the latest coming at the end of last season.

Mikel Arteta has created a system around the 22-year-old winger and will continue to bank on his presence on that side as Arsenal is vying to achieve titles in the coming years. Yet, should Saka become available in the market, there are a few clubs who might potentially afford that £150-200 million fee and would stay alert to the situation.

Will Arsenal sell Bukayo Saka?

There is not a chance as things stand because Arsenal considers Saka untouchable. Last summer, when he potentially entered the previous year of his deal. Yet, there was total confidence at the club and the fanbase that aSaka would remain at the club, and he did.

Hence, there’s not a chance in the world that Arsenal will entertain any proposals or overtures from other clubs. Ideally, Saka would start in any given team in the world right now, and the Gunners would want the winger on their side over others.
