The Villans have contacted the 27-year-old’s agent, sounding out a possible move for the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, the Inter Milan wing-back is also a target for Manchester United.

Denzel Dumfries has established himself as one of the best full-backs in Serie A since joining Inter Milan. The Dutchman had the unenviable task of filling Achraf Hakimi’s shoes when he arrived at San Siro. And he has outdone the Moroccan international, becoming a pivotal figure for the Nerazzurri.
The 27-year-old has turned out 116 times thus far for Inter Milan, chipping in with nine goals and 18 assists. But Dumfries faces an uncertain future at San Siro as he has entered the final 18 months of his contract with the Nerazzurri.
