Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race to sign Manchester United target Kenneth Taylor.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the services of Kenneth Taylor. The 21-year-old midfielder has been one of the mainstays of his team, and his consistent performances have resulted in a lot of interest from across Europe.
Kenneth Taylor has come up the ranks at Ajax. He made it to their first team back in November 2020 and has gone from strength to strength since. The defensive midfielder has featured in a total of 144 matches for the Dutch club and has found the back of the net on 27 occasions. He has lifted the Eredivisie title twice during his time with the club.
He has been on the radar of some of the Premier League clubs for a while now. Manchester United are one of the clubs that have scouted him back in the day. They remain interested in his services and with Casemiro struggling for form, the Red Devils could make a move.
Manchester United are not the only club keen on having him in their ranks. Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have all entered the race for his services. Unai Emery is looking for depth in the centre of the park and with Douglas Luiz linked with a move away from the club, Kenneth Taylor could be a potential replacement.
As far as Spurs are concerned, Ange Postecoglou is keen on adding depth to their ranks. Recent injuries have derailed their progress, and a few of their players will leave for the Africa Cup of Nations at the start of 2024. As a result, the Tottenham boss is looking to push for the 21-year-old’s signatures.
Meanwhile, Newcastle United have realised that they need a few more additions to their ranks to cope with the demands of the Champions League as well as the Premier League. They have their eyes on Taylor, as he is someone who can help them in the short as well as long run.
According to the report, Ajax are considering offloading one of their top talents in 2024, and Taylor could be the one heading to a bigger club. But, the player might be reluctant to leave in the winter and we might have to wait until the summer of 2024.
