Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are some of the teams keen on Shakhtar Donetsk’s talent Georgiy Sudakov.
According to Tuttu Juve, Georgiy Sukadov continues to attract massive interest from top clubs worldwide. Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea are only a few of the teams keen, with Shakhtar Donetsk likely to look for a big sale like Mykhailo Mudryk.
Some may argue that Shakhtar needed the right expertise to see through a big transfer sale, which they did in January. The protracted saga involving Mykhailo Mudryk last January will have given them the right experience for the future after selling the winger to Chelsea for a large sum.
They have another emerging talent in their ranks, Georgiy Sudakov, coming through their ranks and making a stellar impression on the world stage. A host of clubs are already keen on the 21-year-old midfielder, but Shakhtar are in no hurry to sell him.
Barcelona and Newcastle United also held an interest alongside the others, but there are doubts whether either side will enter into a protracted saga for the 21-year-old midfielder. Hence, the chances of a top English side coming in with the required money would be seen as ideal by Shakhtar.
The Ukrainian side is somewhat open to a sale at the right price, although they haven’t clarified their intentions. Considering the amount of attraction the 21-year-old midfielder continues to garner, one would assume it would be on the lines of the Mudryk sale.
Now, the report suggests Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are looking at the midfielder ahead of the next window. Barring Chelsea, the other two sides are about to avoid entering a big bidding war for a young star they may not need right now.
On the other hand, Chelsea is open to doing deals that favour them bringing in young, up-and-coming players. Sukadov fits that bill, and they could even use their good relations with Shakhtar.
Also, Arsenal has good relations with the Ukrainian side while negotiating for Mudryk, which could come into use. They are also looking for exciting young talents closer to first-team action, but they are not as rapid as Chelsea in recruiting such stars.
Manchester United are the most curious admirers among the lot, as Erik Ten Hag continues to look for good talent to shore up his squad. Whether they need a young, up-and-coming player like Sudakov remains the question. Still, they will come into the picture if an opportunity arises, provided the finances permit such a deal.
