Newcastle United, Arsenal, and Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing the Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
A report from TEAMtalk claims that Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle United are interested in Jamie Bynoe-Giittens, and it remains to be seen whether they decide to sign him at the end of the season. The 19-year-old has recently signed a contract with Borussia Dortmund, and the Bundesliga club will not want to let him leave anytime soon.
Dortmund have an exceptional track record when it comes to nurturing talented young players into established stars. And Bynoe-Gittens will look to continue his development with regular football at the Bundesliga club.
The 19-year-old needs to play every week at this stage of his career. But the likes of Newcastle United, Arsenal and Chelsea might not be able to provide him with that opportunity. Newcastle could definitely use more quality in the wide areas, especially after the departure of Allan Saint Maximin. Bynoe-Gitten would be a quality option for them.
The Magpies are one of the wealthiest clubs in the world and they have the financial resources to tempt the German outfit as well. Meanwhile, Arsenal already have players like Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka at their disposal. The 19-year-old would struggle for regular game time with a move to the North London club despite the intense interest in him.
As far as Chelsea are concerned, they have a number of wingers at their disposal. So, Mauricio Pochettino is unlikely to be able to accommodate the 19-year-old in his starting lineup anytime soon.
Ideally, Bynoe-Gittens should look to stay at Borussia Dortmund and continue his development. If he does decide to move in the coming months, a move to Newcastle United would suit him better than Arsenal and Chelsea. But the youngster is committed to the Bundesliga club and does not want to leave anytime soon.
The 19-year-old is a prodigious talent with a big future ahead of him and it remains to be seen where he ends up eventually. Whoever manages to sign him for a reasonable amount of money, will have a future star on their hands.
