PSG are ready to rekindle their interest in Hakim Ziyech after the January fiasco and the Chelsea playmaker’s recent failed move to Saudi Arabia.
Rudy Galetti has claimed that PSG have an interest in Hakim Ziyech despite what happened in January. The French champions are ready to re-ignite their chase of the Chelsea playmaker, albeit only as an alternative to their priority targets in the position.
Hakim Ziyech has returned to Chelsea after another transfer fiasco involving a failed move. The Moroccan international does not feature in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans, and the club would like to sell him in this window and save on his wages.
He was also about to leave in January, but his loan move to PSG fell through due to a paperwork issue. Plenty of criticism got aimed at Chelsea, who were then very busy finalising a move for Enzo Fernandes. The French champions are ready to rekindle their interest in Ziyech. But he is not their priority.
PSG have many targets in their mind, including Bernardo Silva and Joao Felix. But Ziyech could become an option if they fail in their other deals. Hence, any move will depend on the Parisians switching their attention towards the Chelsea playmaker.

Bad luck has followed Ziyech since January, with the latest blow coming a few weeks ago when his much-published move to Saudi Arabia fell through due to a failed medical. Chelsea hoped to sell the playmaker to Al-Nassr and recoup some of the €40 million they paid back in the day.
Whether PSG are looking at another loan deal remains the question. But Chelsea would certainly prefer to sell him outright in this window. The Blues are already planning on signing their preferred players and will want to maximise their sales capacity.
Ziyech will unlikely feature in their plans for the upcoming season and could evaluate offers. He did have the chance to rejoin Al Nassr but at a reduced wage. There are also links to Napoli, but the Partenopei do not have a concrete interest in the Chelsea star.
He might open his doors to a PSG move, with who, his relationship remains good. However, the only concern is that he is only an alternative target. But Ziyech could wait patiently to complete the move if it materialises.
