And the 30-year-old is pushing Real Madrid to secure a deal for the 22-year-old Bayern Munich wide man. But the Bundesliga champions do not want to part ways with the youngster.
Alphonso Davies has evolved into a marauding full-back since joining Bayern Munich over four years ago. The Canadian international arrived at the Allianz Arena as a promising young winger. But Hansi Flick’s vision transformed him into a left-back, with his pacy outlet having the potential to wreak havoc.
The 22-year-old has been the first-choice left-back for Bayern Munich since he changed his role. And Davies has turned out over 150 times thus far for the Bavarian giants, chipping in with eight goals and 25 assists. And the youngster’s progress has captured the attention of several high-profile clubs, including Real Madrid.
The Merengues have already signed Fran Garcia to bolster Carlo Ancelotti’s left-back options. But the Spaniard might not be the only left-back joining Real Madrid in the summer transfer window. That is because Ferland Mendy faces an uncertain future at the Santiago Bernabeu. And Los Blancos might cash in on the Frenchman ahead of the 2023/24 season.
