Manchester United keen on signing Jude Bellingham

Manchester United are one of the clubs looking to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, a target for Liverpool and Real Madrid.

A report from Fichajes claims that Manchester United are competing with clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool to sign Jude Bellingham. The English midfielder is valued at €120 million by Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund. And the Red Devils certainly have the financial muscle to pull off the transfer.

The 19-year-old midfielder is one of the best young players in world football. And he could prove to be a sensational long-term investment for Manchester United. The Red Devils will have to bring in a top-class central midfielder to partner Casemiro in the middle of the park. And Bellingham is as good as anyone right now.

The England international has been one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga, and he managed to excel at the 2022 FIFA World Cup with England as well. Bellingham has all the attributes to develop into a potential superstar and he could sort out Manchester United’s midfield for the foreseeable future.

Apart from his quality as a player, his leadership skills would be a priceless addition to the Manchester United dressing room. The 19-year-old has all the tools to develop into a charismatic captain for the Red Devils in the near future.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements. And they are hoping to sign the 19-year-old, who has been likened to club legend Steven Gerrard. Bellingham would be the ideal replacement for players like Jordan Henderson. And he could take over the captaincy role in the coming seasons as well.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will have to find a quality long-term replacement for club legend Luka Modric. And Bellingham seems like an ideal fit. But recent reports have suggested that Real Madrid have fallen behind Liverpool in the chase.

It will be interesting to see which of the three clubs are prepared to pay the €120 million asking price for Bellingham in the coming months. Bellingham certainly has the potential to justify the investment in the long run. That said, Liverpool might not qualify for the Champions League, which could give Real Madrid and Manchester United an advantage in their pursuit of the England international.
