Manchester United have emerged as an unlikely suitor for Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus who has also attracted the interest of Liverpool.

As per Spanish daily Fichajes, Manchester United could have a look at Ajax youngster Mohammed Kudus as the Red Devils have been in search of an attacking outlet which has been severely missing in their ranks.

Kudus had been in a relatively unknown territory until the World Cup happened in Qatar this year. The 22-year-old has been one of the brightest talents who hasn’t really blown up so far but his World Cup antics have made him a target.

The youngster has already shown his moves and his capability illustrating that he is ready to rub his shoulder with the big names in the Premier League. Liverpool would be in the front of the queue if a deal is to be done.

Jurgen Klopp is a fan of the player and has been keeping a stringent watch on the Ghanaian international. Very light-footed Kudus can get past a number of opponents with his electrifying pace and can also shoot from a distance if needed.

Liverpool are also missing a creating impetus somewhere and a livewire like Kudus can definitely impact games if he is on the song.

Apart from his preferable attacking midfield position, the player can also pull the strings from the central midfield and he can also operate as a proper centre forward.

United would need help with a number of positions and his versatility could offer them a good deal. Donny van de Beek hasn’t been able to establish his authority as an alternative to Bruno Fernandes and Erik ten Hag might be persuasive enough to bring Kudus to Manchester.

Barcelona have also been tipped as his potential admirer but in their current financial position, they would not be able to afford the huge finances involved in a move.

United have cried out for goals as except for Chelsea they have scored the least amount of goals in the top ten and that is not a very good show for a team which is determined to challenge for the Premier League title.

Ajax would hold out for a price near about £40 million and a move in January seems very unlikely for his suitors.
