Arsenal squandered a narrow one-goal lead with 15 minutes left to play as Wolves held them to a 1-1 draw at the Emirates on Saturday.
After a slow start to the game, Arsenal dominated the proceedings and grabbed a well deserved lead in the 21st minute through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gunners continued to be the better of the two sides, but let their lead slip with a quarter of an hour left, with Raul Jimenez heading in the equaliser.
There were no further goals in the game, which ended in a 1-1 stalemate. The result meant Arsenal are now four domestic games without a win and unsurprisingly, Unai Emery was lambasted by fans in the aftermath of the match.
The signs have been there for ages now. Do your jobs, pull the trigger tonight. It’s been too long already.

What exactly is the long-term plan? Lampard has been at Chelsea for 10 league games & they’ve shown more signs of direction. The issue isn’t simply that we’re not winning, it’s that we’ve shown no signs of improvement in 16 months under Emery. Another embarrassing afternoon.

Arsenal booed off the pitch at home. Unai Emery doing in 15 months what it took Arsène Wenger 22 years to achieve. It’s arguably impressive.

Think about Emery’s week:
?His captain wouldn’t apologise to fans
?He tried to tank Ozil away at Liverpool to prove a point, failed
?Failed to win despite taking lead 3 times
?Story hit the press that the kids rip the piss out of him behind his backHas to go.

Honestly not surprised but really disappointed. Emery has sucked life out of this team. Delusional formations, tactics and team selection. Thanks for “good ebening” but it’s time to go.

FT: 1-1. Another poor result for Arsenal. Beginning to feel distinctly less hopeful about the Emery era. #afc

6 points off top 4. Every week we are getting worse. Really thought Tierney, Holding and Bellerin coming back would make a difference. 3 points in the last 4 matches and Leicester away next weekend. Big decision needs to be taken. Don’t think we will get better under Emery.

I’m sorry but here it is and I don’t care if I’m labeled as something I know I’m not (not a real fan etc).
I no longer support Emery. I just cannot endorse what he has us doing.

But, there were some positives to take from the match, particularly the form of Mesut Ozil, who was impressive once again.
Ozil has been really excellent in every facet of the game so far, especially considering he’s so rarely in his natural position. Ceballos has improved a great deal after a slow start.
Still Arsenal are living dangerously, lucky to be leading at the break.
