Liverpool Klopp has made two changes to the side that was beaten in the midweek Champions League tie as Liverpool prepare to host Manchester City at Anfield
Dejan Lovren makes his first start of the season, partnering Virgil van Dijk at the heart of the Liverpool defence. Trent Alexander-Arnold has made way for the Croat, with Joe Gomez starting in his stead in the right-back slot. The other change sees Jordan Henderson return, with Naby Keita dropping to the bench.
Manchester City, on the other hand, have seen manager Pep Guardiola make four changes to his most recent side, with the likes of John Stones, Benjamin Mendy, Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez returning to the starting lineup.
