In a squad that has been pumped full of millions of pounds, it was the A?350,000-priced Kelechi Iheanacho, who put in the best performance of the night, at the Etihad Stadium, in Manchester, on Wednesday night.

As Manchester City simply swiped aside Crystal Palacea challenge with an emphatic 5-1, the Citizens also ensured that there were no London sides left sin the competition.

With this win, Manchester City completely rubbished all their doubters, after the Capital One Cup Round of 16, where English giants like Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC, and Manchester United have been knocked out by not so big (or expensive) teams. This win set twitter abuzz with praises for Iheanacho, and awe for Manchester Citya s great performance. Here are some of the best twitter reactions.
