Twitter Goes Ballistic As Yaya Toure And Sergio Aguero Strike Late To Give Manchester City A Come From Behind Win Over Watford

Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero struck late on to give Manchester City a priceless 2-1 away win over Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

An Aleksandar Kolarov own goal in the 55th minute had given Watford a surprise lead over Manuel Pellegrini’s team. For most of the 2nd half, it seemed as if Manchester City were heading to their 6th consecutive away game without a win in the Barclays Premier League.

However, Yaya Toure struck an outrageous left footed volley into the top corner from Kolarov’s corner kick to level up the scores at 1-1 in the 82nd minute. The turnaround was complete when Argentinian striker Sergio “Kun” Aguero guided a header into the back of the net from an awkward angle after a superb cross by Bacary Sagna.

City’s 2-1 win over Watford moved them within 3 points off league leaders Arsenal who beat Newcastle United 1-0 in an earlier kick off. Here is how twitter reacted to City’s hard fought win over Watford.

Some range of technique to Yaya’s finishes. The ball comes off his boot in ways you wouldn’t expect.

Man City turn it around. That’s what happens when you’ve got players of the quality of Yaya and Aguero.
