Legendary Manchester United midfielder David Beckham has hailed under-fire Chelsea FC manager as ‘one of the best managers of all-time’.

The Premier League holders have endured their worst start to the season since Roman Abrahimovich took over and have won only two games of their opening seven fixtures in the league. The Blues also suffered defeat at the hands of FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League.

Chelsea FC take on Southampton tomorrow in the Premier League at the Stamford Bridge and would be hoping to cover the lost ground on league leaders Manchester United, who travel to the Emirates.

He always finds a way of getting out of these dips — Beckham on Mourinho

However, Beckham has backed Mourinho to turn it around and has went on to say that the Blues have some of the best players in the world.

Speaking in an interview with . TalkSPORT, Beckham was quoted as saying:

“People are talking about Chelsea a lot at the moment. People are saying the way he [Mourinho] is being is different to how he was last year. It is Jose Mourinho. He is one of the best managers of all-time.

“He always finds a way of getting out of these dips. It is not as if they have not got a good team. They have got some of the best players in the world in their team.”
