Former Chelsea FC star Kevin de Bruyne is not for sale insists Wolfsburg’s chairman Francisco Javier Garcia Sanz as Europe’s top club eye the Belgian.

.

De Bruyne, 23, has been in sensational form for Wolfsburg following his a 20 million move from Chelsea and is being pursued by a host of European Clubs. The Belgian has broken the league record by clocking up an impressive 21 assists and in addition has scored 10 league goals to help Wolfsburg finish second behind only Bayern Munich. The midfielder was inspirational in Wolfsburg’s 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in the DFB Pokal final on Saturday, too.

Kevin De Bruyne had played more accurate through balls than any other player in the Bundesliga and at 111 chance created, was ahead of Eden Hazard of Chelsea FC as the second best across the top 5 Leagues in Europe.

Garcia Sanz told Sport Bild magazine. “We want to confirm our success this season in the future and, for that, we are keeping this team together.”

Despite being unable to make the grade under Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, Manchester City were hoping to lure the Belgian to England to boost their midfield.

Chelsea FC meanwhile, will be wondering, much like Nemanja Matic early in his career, have they let go someone they could have done with. Cuadrado has failed to make his mark, as has Salah. They are in the market for a wide player with Griezmann and Pedro linked with possible move to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have done some very smart business off late, but, signing they have failed to find a wide player they can bank upon for cover following the departure of de Bruyne who was loaned out in the hope he could develop and play regularly for the London outfit.

Since then, De Bruyne has went onto say that he wouldn’t return to Chelsea FC while Jose Mourinho is in charge of the club.
