Chelsea FC won the Premier League quite comfortably last season. The club are rewarding the manager along with his Portuguese assistants Rui Faria and Silvino Louro with new deals.
Chelsea have set their sight on the Champions League next season and have backed the manager with both, contract for his staff and himself, as well as funds to secure three new signings in order to compete with Manchester United, Arsenal FC, and Manchester City. The trio are expected to invest heavily in the market.
Jose Mourinho had come out and said that the club will make three new signings. However, he has made it clear that the priority remains to retain the current bunch of players and adding to the competition in his squad.
