The Brazil U20 international has long been linked with a move to Chelsea FC this summer, and it appears an official announcement is not too far away. Meanwhile, compatriot Wallace is set to return to Italy for another loan spell in the Serie A

Brazilian starlet Kenedy is expected to be announced as a Chelsea FC player in the coming days, with the youngster part of the squad that flew to the Blues’ training base in Montreal on Wednesday. Fellow Brazilian Wallace, who spent last season on loan at Vitesse, is set to complete a loan move to the Serie A with newly promoted side Capri.

Social media posts confirm Kenedy as Chelsea FC player before official announcement

Kenedy, who has been dubbed the ‘new Hulk’, for his physical style of play and ferocious left foot, was all but confirmed as a new Chelsea FC signing when compatriot Oscar posted a photo on his personal Instagram account of Kenedy along with the Blues’ Brazilian contingent after the club’s arrival in Montreal.

Fluminense had earlier confirmed the Brazilian’s sale without specifying the club he was set to sign for, but it was widely expected to be Jos Mourinho’s side.

The photo removes any remaining doubt, and it is likely that Chelsea FC will make the signing official in the coming days. Kenedy also posted a photo from his personal Snapchat account earlier this week, which was widely expected to be taken at the Cobham changing rooms.

Wallace set for Serie A return

Co-incidentally, 21-year-old right-back Wallace also signed for Chelsea FC from Fluminense in 2013, and after spending an unsuccessful season on loan at Inter Milan in 2013-2014, the Brazilian is expected to return to the Serie A with newly promoted side Capri.

According to Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, an agreement between the Blues and the Serie A side is already in place for Wallace to spend the 2015-2016 season in Italy, where Capri will be looking to avoid relegation back to the Serie B.

The claims seem to be supported by the fact that Wallace has not travelled with the Chelsea FC squad to Canada, and is thought to be part of a ‘special group’ that has stayed behind in England with coaches Eddie Newton and Paulo Ferreira, awaiting loan moves for the coming season.
